Theme

Sexual fantasies let us test the edges of what we’re allowed to want. In imagination, we can be reckless, powerful, vulnerable, transgressive — free to explore taboos without consequence or judgement.

But what happens when those fantasies step beyond our minds, into the worlds of role-play and generative AI? If no one is harmed in real life, are we truly free to imagine anything — or should there still be limits before the darkest sides of the human mind seep into the world?
In this supper, we’ll be joined at the table by Alix Fox (award-winning sex writer, educator and script advisor for Netflix's Sex Education) and Poppy Jay (BAFTA-nominated broadcaster and host of Brown Girls Do It Too) to explore: If no one is harmed in real life, are all sexual fantasies fair game — no matter how dark?

Alix Fox describes herself as a 'decently indecent' writer and broadcaster, whose multi award-winning work focuses largely on sexual culture & wellbeing. After cutting her teeth on the editorial team of cult magazine Bizarre, Alix has gone on to be published in Vogue, The Guardian, Stylist, Marie Claire, Time Out, and beyond. She serves as a script consultant on the hit Netflix series Sex Education, and co-hosted BBC Radio 1's comedy show Unexpected Fluids — a show dedicated to real-life tales of sexual mishaps. She also fields listeners' X-rated questions on the long-running podcast The Modern Man, and led the groundbreaking Guardian series Close Encounters. Alix is currently a PhD researcher at UCL's Institute of Global Health, where her doctorate focuses on HIV and sexual wellbeing communications.

A born & proud East Londoner, Poppy Jay is a BAFTA nominated documentary film maker and co-host of the award winning and much-loved podcast Brown Girls Do it Too. From her documentary on gen-z anti-abortion campaigners, to co-hosting the award-winning podcast Brown Girls Do It Too, Poppy's is known for her wide-ranging and thought-provoking work, unafraid to drive searingly honest journalism on topics that many tend to avoid. Her front of camera work has seen her present on BBC3, Vice News and Channel 4.

Supper will be lovingly cooked by Federica Dentice. Federica is an Italian private chef based in London. She moved here seven years ago to start a new life and career, diving into the city’s kitchens — from Borough Market and Shoreditch eateries to fine dining, catering, early breakfasts, and afternoon teas all over the city.

She has a love for fresh pasta, a craft that lets her connect with both ingredients and the people around the table. A passionate explorer of regional Italian cuisine, she loves putting her own twist on traditional dishes using techniques she has mastered over the years. Supper clubs are her place: intimate, lively, and full of connection — never without laughs, conversation, and new friendship. She’s now making her South London debut with Felloe’s Takeover, ready to cook and share an unforgettable experience.
