For better or worse, AI is set to transform our world. Its momentum can feel so inevitable that we rarely pause to ask: Why? For what purpose? And as we democratise the ability to "build" out ideas with limited regulation, who gets to decide?

Focused on child protection and innovative preventative interventions, she has spent the last 5 years working at the Home Office to help the UK government navigate the dangers and opportunities of modern technology, with a large focus on AI. Formerly Bex worked as a strategist, narrative expert and writer, helping global industries to drive transformation, innovation and impact.

Valeria Adani
Valeria Adani is a Partner at Projects by IF, a strategy and design agency that specialises in trust. Drawing on her 14+ years of experience in product, service and organizational design, Valeria brings a human-centred perspective to data, technology and AI. In her work at IF, she helps organisations use AI as a new material, focusing on increasing trustworthiness in their AI products and services to drive adoption and growth.
